Hello and welcome to IDT Group's little corner of the Internet universe.  While our offline business continues to flourish, we are still frustrated by what we see as lost opportunities for success.  Therefore, we developed this website as one way to help our technical partners and friends to learn how to more successfully communicate their technical ideas.

Briefly, IDT Group was created as a technical training company in 2006 by Ms. Ilse van Goth, M.S. and Mr. Keith A. Trimels, P.E. in response to what we saw in our respective careers - namely, technical experts repeatedly failing to successfully convey ideas to an audience that lacked their level of technical expertise.  The result of this communication breakdown is often that fantastic, elegant solutions to complex problems never see the light of day.

This site is our contribution to reversing that trend!

While most technically-trained individuals understand the "science" of their respective specialty areas, they often mistakenly imagine presentations are more like black magic.  Well, just as a good magician is a combination of a little art and a lot of science and practice, we will show you the "science" behind successful technical presentations.  And as you know, once you understand the science behind a concept, you'll be able to successfully and repeatedly implement it.
